This Lliqlla is a beautifully woven cloth, handcrafted by the Q’ero Nation, the last living community of the Incan lineage. It is traditionally used in ceremonies as the sacred cloth to lay the Andean Mesa (Altar) and honor the Pachamama (Mother Earth) and the Apus (Mountain Spirits).
Origin: Q’ero Nation (Vilcanota Mountain Range, Cusco, Peru).
Raw Material: 100% Alpaca Wool (Andean camelid fiber, renowned for its softness and warmth).
Dyeing Process: Natural Color Dyes, Sourced from indigenous plants, minerals, and traditionally cochineal (for reds), ensuring vibrant, lasting, and Earth-friendly colors.
Technique: Hand-Woven on a Backstrap Loom (Pallay). Every geometric design and color is infused with cosmic meaning and ancestral knowledge.
